Dr. Betsy Hartridge
Dr. Hartridge grew up in Columbia, SC. She graduated from Hammond Academy in 1988 and then attended the University of South Carolina where she received her BA in Anthropology in 1992. After college, Betsy worked, traveled, and enjoyed her numerous hobbies, which include kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, and of course, her pets.
Work experience ran the gamut between social worker, outdoor retail, fish processing, and even a carnival worker at the Alaska State Fair. After she and her Husband married in 1995, they moved to the Smoky Mountains where Dr. Betsy decided to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian.
She attended Western Carolina University, where she received her BS in biology and was accepted to the University of Georgia, where she received her DVM in 2006. Dr. Betsy and her husband Bobby, and their children Abby and Henry live happily with three dogs, two cats, a bearded dragon, and snake.
